We are now looking for machine setters for our injection molding department. If you are not currently working as a setter but have the right profile, you will receive both internal and external training from us. AMB can offer machine setter training that takes place during working hours. The training combines practical learning in production under the guidance of an experienced colleague, interspersed with theoretical studies conducted by an external trainer.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a machine setter, you will

• Be responsible for and perform tool and mold changes in our injection molding machines.
• Inspect details and handle materials at the machines.
• Troubleshoot and take action during production stoppages.
• Service and maintain the machinery.
• Follow up and control production standards and quality to meet set goals.
• Eventually conduct trial runs with new production tools.
• Work with and be interested in automation and standardization of the injection molding process.
• Occasionally work as an operator in the relevant production section.

Work at AMB has a strong focus on Lean and 5S.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone with at least a 3-year high school diploma, preferably with a technical focus, or equivalent experience or education. Experience in injection molding and/or plastic technology education is an advantage.

As a person, you are willing to work, curious, and have a good technical understanding. You have a strong sense of responsibility, are quality-conscious, and can make independent decisions when the work requires it. It is important that you enjoy working in a team but also independently and maintain good order while working. We value a non-prestigious work environment where everyone contributes and helps each other - and we believe you will do the same. In addition to formal qualifications, we place great emphasis on personal qualities.

LOCATION AND WORKING HOURS

The work location is Broakulla, and you will initially work 2 shifts. The position is a fixed-term employment for about 6 months to start with, but with very good opportunities for permanent employment.
